City of Edinburgh

Edinburgh is Scotland's capital and has many reasons for it to be. The city has an amazing collection of wonderful, yet medieval buildings, from the world famous Edinburgh Castle, to the Holyrood Palace, the Royal family's Scottish residence. Edinburgh is home of the Scottish Parliament and hosts major events like the Fringe Festival. In autumn 2003, the city played a major host of the MTV Music Awards.
