15 November 2008 : Would You Like Tea With That Sir?

I know it's been a while, yes I'm lazy. Perhaps its got something to do with my current job overtaking my life, 'Muji life' that is. I've made some cool friends from work, some of whom I spend most of my time with now. So how do you balance an over-worked Phil? Easy, work-hard, play-hard. I'm just recovering from a Friday night out thus my Saturday has been utterly pointless.. apart from the sleeping.

The highlights of my week, apart from a fun-filled job included Amateur strip night. Very amusing indeed, having also been asked to go on stage by the host. "That £100 can get you all the fake DVDs" something along those words.

If anyone noticed, I've been making some big changes on the website (over a long period of time). Hopefully it will be perfected over time (by 2010). Speaking of websites, I've been handed over the task of creating my friends Judy and Gordon's wedding site. J&G The Wedding, will be my big gift for them to treasure over the years to come. Watch this space!

I've recently developed a craving for tea. English Tea sadly. I guess it must be those antioxidants which makes me a more happier Phil.

6 April 2008 : First Week In London

Well since Alan is asleep (again), I thought I'd update on my first week so far in London. Today we met Vicky who now lives in Hertfordshire. We all went to watch the Olympic torch parade down by the River Thames despite ongoing protests (watch video). I also got a VIP tour of Alan's impressive workplace at E&Y. Missing home loads but there are things here that make London exciting.

Nice catching up with Jude, Gordon, Mandy and Mei, its been a while and it must have been over a year since I last seen Fifi. We all decended to the Sunset Strip.. (naked women) club! Can never get bored of Soho! Yesterday, we were at the new Abercrombie & Fitch store on Saville Row and boy were they hot staffed.. you could even have a photo taken with a hot bare-chested model!

Alan's flatmates have been great. You can't help but worry how everyone will treat you, afterall I did just move in to Alan's room and may have taken their comfort zone away. I'm going to always feel, for now, that I'd need to make an extra effort. But they have been nice to me which is a bless, since for now, I do get homesick. I miss everyone back home, most importantly my family. Alan is still sleeping, I'm going to wake him up, until next time.

10 March 2008 : Birthday Wishes

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALAN! Wish you all the best for the year ahead. I look forward to seeing you soon.

It's been a week of 'goodbyes' for me. Yesterday, I was in Regatta near Largs, it was my last outing with a couple from work and to celebrate my new life down south. I love Scotland for it's beautful landscapes and culture. This will be my last week at Yumla, the end of an era. I am going to miss my daily routine... not! I will miss working with my dad... and the team... and the food! This weekend, I will be going to Millport... or Ayr, with some other colleagues from work. You could say I've developed a strong bond with the team, esspecially since I've been working with them pratically every day. Next week, I will be spending time with my brother and Ashton, and I might fit in a trip back up to Edinburgh. Mum is currently in Hong Kong, we've already said our goodbyes, the time is closer.

15 February 2008 : Valentines

Its the day after Valentines and yes I got a package from the post, can you guess who its from? Work's been mad for the past few weeks. Management (excluding myself) is a mess, I don't think I could stay there for another year. Chinese New Year was a neat get-together with family and friends. There's just never enough free time these days. I've been using my iPod alot! Got hundreds of songs and a couple of cool videos. I even have an Edison Chen Scandal photo just to shock his fans.

24 January 2008 : Late As Usual

It's 3.44am and you would'nt believe whats kept me up this late... The Jeremy Kyle Show I kid you not! On the show was a pure wee rebel with such a horrible bitch mother who would'nt take her son back. It's annoying that I've kept awake for this. Maybe I just feel pity for the boy. Other news is the lost of one of the best actors we've had for a long time, Heath Ledger, 28. He's due to appear in the next Batman movie as Joker. Rest In Peace.

19 January 2008 : Do You Do Naan Bread?

So a customer arrived in the restaurant last week and ordered a Beef Curry, to my shock she said the following,

"Instead of rice can I get Naan Bread with my Curry?"

"This is a fucking Chinese Restaurant", which were the words in my mind besides others. How could the 'woman' be so arrogant let alone stupid. This fucking annoys me...
