23 October 2007 : Happy Birthday Ashton

Today is Ashton's first Birthday. I can't believe that has been a year. I've always brought something for wee Ashton, but what can you get for a One year old? Check out the cool video clips I've filmed and see how cute and beautiful our Ashton is.

For a while, I thought I'd never see a weekend. I got last week off from work... what are the chances? Alan was up and we went out to a few familiar bars... Moskito. We also stayed a night in Edinburgh where I was reunited with Davide. We were in the new club 'GHQ' which was very cool.

10 September 2007 : Plan Ahead

Where does everyone want to be in a year’s time? It’s time to make that ultimate sacrifice and follow that dream you always desired. For me, it was to eventually settle down and be an independent sort of guy. Although I’m very much independent today, I still feel the need to be away from this city. I need to take myself away from this comfort zone and face new challenges. I’ve never worked so much in my life. Six days a week, long hours, there is never time for me to social with my friends. What’s keeping me strong is my focus on earning enough for a living down south, which will eventually be my next move. The hardest thing in life is leaving my family behind, which I will strongly regret later. I know I can do it because I’ve done this many times before, but for how much longer?

3 June 2007 : Your Phili Needs YOU!

I am bracing myself for the week ahead. It's just gonna be work, work, work...! Lots of staff off so that means I'll be filling in their places, so no day-off till next week! Alan flies to Hong Kong tomorrow so no more wee phone calls! It's just gonna be one dull week ahead.

Now this is where my good friends come in, sometime mid-week expect a manic-depressed phonecall from me in the wee small hours. Feel free to call me any night after work from around 11pm. I need to make this shitty week go by as fast as possible.

9 May 2007 : Jen's Up! Alan's Up! Jude's Up!

After a whole week of sunshine, the two days I'm off and it rains. Nevermind, its been a good Bank Holiday (or Justin Timberlake) weekend. Alan was up together with Jennifer, Gordon and Judy. It was the weekend of Justin Timberlake's 'I refuse to pay for' concert.

We watched Alpha Dog which was nothing more than a two hour long commercial for JT, he's bloody annoying in it! I strongly recommend Curse Of The Golden Flower.

I have a cute video of Ashton's first words, watch out for it soon and theres new photos!

Our home is 'sold' after just over two weeks on the market. The end of an era is nigh..

24 April 2007 : Sexy Back!

Well its nearly a fortnight since we've been back from Thailand and I've only just managed to upload one of the travel videos we filmed.

There are over 200 photos in the new Thailand 2007 page which I hope you enjoy reading. So what's happened in two weeks? Well, I spent a few good days in Swindon and stayed at Alan's humble flat. I also got to visit Gordon and Judy's impressive new home. The house is set in what seems like a movie set, it is absalute perfection. Speaking of homes, our bungalow has just gone up for sale. After eleven years in East Kilbride, the time has come and everyone has grown out and away from here. Mum spends most of her time in Glasgow and Raymond now has his own house with Lily and baby Ashton. And so that leaves me, who has always moved about and lived very little here. In the autumn, I will be moving to London, the next exciting chapter...

22 March 2007 : Packing Up For Thailand

Hello! I'm just packing my rucksack tonight in time for my flight on early Saturday morning. I can't wait, it feels like ages ago since we booked it.

Little much has happened lately apart from working and now I'm spending all my hard earned dosh... spent sixty quid today on holiday essentials (t-shirts, shorts...).

I know its gonna be two weeks but I feel as though I'm missing loads of people already, which is rather weird. Anyway, off I go to the exotic world of Thailand where anything can happen...

29 January 2007 : Thailand Revisited

Alan and I have booked our tickets for Thailand this year in mid March. After my long travels in 2004, I will be able to see first hand what the impact of the Boxing Day Tsunami and Military Coup have had on this magnificent country. Most of all, I will be revisiting the outstanding beaches, the urban jungle of Bangkok and the tranquil surroundings in the fields up North.
